The Cape Henlopen Educational Foundation’s fourth annual Caravan of Caring is now accepting school supplies and monetary donations to support Cape district students.

CHEF officials are particularly interested in ensuring that students from low-income homes or those who are experiencing homelessness have supplies they need for success in the classroom. CHEF is also collecting monetary donations for technology and virtual needs for low-income students.

Materials needed include notebooks, binders, pocket folders, zip drives, loose-leaf paper, composition books, colored pencils, Crayola crayons, glue sticks, scissors and ear buds.

Supplies will be accepted through Wednesday, Aug. 25, at drop-off boxes at Lefty’s Alley & Eats in Lewes, Schell Brothers and Staples in Rehoboth Beach, and Sydney’s Restaurant and Lounge in Milton.

Monetary donations can be made payable to CHEF and mailed to 1270 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE 19958.

For more information and a complete list of supplies needed, go to chef-cape.org or email Ashley Reynolds at chef19958@gmail.com.
