In lieu of our annual fundraiser, WINTER JAM, the Cape Henlopen Educational Foundation (CHEF) is excited to host:
SPRING JAM 2022!!!
Spring Jam 2022 will be held in a large tent outside of the Virden Center on Friday, May 20, 2022. This year’s event will feature live music from the trending BLUE LABEL BAND, delicious food specialties from top area restaurants, libations, dancing, a gift card tree, and an online auction full of exciting items to bid on. You won’t want to miss it; it gets bigger and better each year! This year we will be celebrating being back together again and enjoying ourselves in person!
We hope you will join in our mission to support the students of Cape Henlopen School District, by becoming a sponsor for CHEF’s largest annual fundraiser. Your sponsorship will help to fund:
- Funding for students in need of help for field trips, technology and basic needs
- Teacher support for materials to explore and expand upon topics from class
- Cultural events for students to experience outside of the classroom
- Robotics Clubs, STEM projects and other science/technology related interests
- Positive behavior programs within the schools
- College tours and initiatives
- Arts programs (field trips to see concerts, musicals, plays)
- Performing Arts Scholarships for secondary students to advance and cultivate their talent during the summer
- After school programs for students to participate in
- And much, much more!!!
Spring Jam 2022 shall serve as the primary funding for Cape School District's unfunded or underfunded programs for students. During the past ten years, CHEF has contributed an amazing $209,000 to over 320 grant awardees!
